Rome is often called the “Eternal City” which is a reference to its longevity. The nickname was first used by the Roman poet Tibullus. Although not official, it is said Rome was named after the city’s founder and first king, Romulus. No, I’m not an Italian historian, I read that online, and the reference is below. Rome does have a history, and after spending a few days there, I certainly want to learn more about it. Visiting Italy was on the bucket list. I can now check off that box. It was an experience of a lifetime. As you take in the scenery, you’ll enjoy the vast Italian countryside filled with vineyards and farms as far as the eye can see. Yes, there are many things to do in Italy, but enjoying the plush green hills as you travel from one region to another, is something you’ll never forget.
I hope you, my faithful followers, get the chance to experience Italy. If you already have, I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say it’s a trip you need to take. Enjoy the photos.
