Summer is in full swing! Unfortunately, if you’re in the education business like I am, sadly, it’s almost over. The calendar reads August which for educators means the first day of school is right around the corner. I know, what happened to school starting in September? That actually still happens in many school districts across the country, but where I work, it’s for whom the school bell tolls.
My new followers may not know this about me, but I am currently pursuing my teaching credential to teach high school English. I’m almost done with that process. I’ve been taking coursework since January and finally finished on July 20th. I have one class left to complete my master’s degree, then I do my student teaching. While I wait for my updated transcripts, I felt it was time to leave the country. Literally. Summer vacation started promptly on July 21st. First stop, Rome Italy. Second stop, Paris France. Last stop, London England. Exciting right?
As I sit here in this amazing London hotel (props to the Westin in London City), I wanted to start journaling this trip. There are so many things to see and do in these countries, and I want to share them with all of you. Stay tuned for more in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, here’s just one picture I took of a very familiar landmark. Until next time, peace and blessings.
Good luck on the final stages of your coursework and enjoy the rest of your trip! The picture of the Eiffel Tower is amazing. It’ll be great to hear more about Europe!
